Red Bank has so much charm and historic character. Located near the Navesink River there is so much to see. It has an old little town feel, but with contemporary flair to it. Spend the day at Marine Park and take in the sites by the river. Sometimes you will see an event take place, such as the street fair, the food & wine festivals, or fireworks for the 4th of July. Enjoy a show or concert at the Count Basie Theater Center for the Arts and then enjoy and after so show Italian dinner at Buona Sera which continues that dramatic designer enbiance. There are so many restaurants for everyone’s taste…Catch 19 with their fine fish entrees, Teak Restaurant & Bar for dinner with an Asian twist, or Char Steakhouse with a city vibe throughout. There are many other places like Robinsons Ale House and PazzoMMX . The streets are lined with boutiques and shops for browsing antiques. Street parking could be tough depending on the time, but there is a parking garage and a municipal parking lot. Street parking, too if you can find a spot. The town is really quaint and it’ always a great time year round.
The houses have so much character, as many are renovated older colonials and bungalow houses. When renovating, many have kept to the integrity of the older architecture. The neighborhood has that mature feeling to it. It is a perfect balance of old city charm and entertainment by the water. This town is easily accessible via the GSP and other major routes.
