Point Pleasant Township / Ocean County

Point Pleasant aka “Point” is known for it’s boardwalk rides and attractions and being a summer destination to many. This town has many things for all ages. The boardwalk also offers the Jenkinson’s Aquarium, shops and eateries. You can also enjoy boardwalk favorites, such as ice cream, water ice, salt water taffy and freshly made zeppoles. Enjoy music and outdoor entertainment at Martell’s  Tiki Bar.

You can get to this town by heading south on Highway 34. It is located just after the town of Brielle. When heading toward the beach you will pass other restaurants on Arnold Avenue. There is a municipal lot for parking and addtional parking on the streets. Just pay attention to where you can and can’t park. There can also be some traffic if the bridge is up just before the town to allow boats to go past. So plan a little earlier and when you are there is is Shore to Please! Enjoy the day at Pt. Pleasant!
